Perhaps more well known to the PNE fanbase than other scholars, Felipe Rodriguez-Gentile burst onto the scene as a schoolboy.

Born in Brazil to Argentine parents, Felipe moved to England as a teenager and was scouted by North End playing football for his local team in Merseyside.

The diminutive forward soon started banging the goals in at youth level and took his big chance in the 2022/23 FA Youth Cup third round at Deepdale as he bagged a remarkable five-goal haul, which unsurprisingly attracted attention.

Felipe ended the competition as the joint-top goalscorer and continued to feature in U19 matches and in the Central League, all while still at school.

He now goes into the first year of his scholarship, though, where he can give even more of his attention to football.
