Dai Cornell joined the club on 1st July 2022, signing a two-year deal at Deepdale.
The Welsh goalkeeper arrived on the back of making 30 appearances in the 2021/22 Championship campaign for Peterborough United.
Cornell started his career with Swansea City, making his professional debut for the Welsh side in 2009, before moving on permanently to Oldham Athletic in 2015.
His most successful time came with Northampton Town between 2016 and 2020, having made 108 appearances for the Cobblers and helping them achieve promotion to League One during the 2019/20 campaign.
The former Wales youth international then joined Ipswich Town before his move to Peterborough, and he will challenge Freddie Woodman during the 2022/23 campaign.
Dai impressed on his debut for the club, saving a penalty against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
