Finlay Cross-Adair was brought into the first team setup during the 2022/23 season and was handed his professional debut in October 2022.

The forward – a huge Preston North End fan – came on as a late substitute against Stoke City at Deepdale.

He unsurprisingly said he was “over the moon” to make his first appearance for the senior side, having first joined the club at the age of ten.

Cross-Adair played a regular part during the 2021/22 campaign for the U19s as a first-year scholar, when Nick Harrison’s side secured a league and cup double.
