Four Preston North End players have been invited to take part in a Republic of Ireland U19 training camp.
Harry Nevin, Jacob Slater, Josh Seary and Mikey O’Neill – who is currently on loan at League Two side Grimsby Town – will all join Tom Mohan’s side for a three-day camp.
They will train at Loughborough University as they look to impress the manager ahead of their European Championship qualifiers.
Ireland will come up against Slovakia, Estonia and Greece in the Elite Round of qualifiers in March, with the end goal being a place in the showpiece tournament in Malta in July 2023.
